Home of Green Wave Athletics, the Wilson Center houses many of Tulane’s varsity sports teams. Pangea Construction was contracted to renovate the atrium, football corridors, team meeting room, recruiting areas, and coaches’ offices.
The space was transformed to reflect the recent successes of its teams, transitioning from dated stone walls to light painted walls and bright white terrazzo. Stadium seating was constructed in the team meeting room (Squad Room) with a movable partition installed in the ceiling. Careful planning, phasing, scheduling, and safety measures were employed to ensure safe access for all while completing the project in an aggressive 4-month timeline.
