Mark J. Silva

Founder

Mark began his construction career working summers for his brother’s business, where he learned the fundamentals of carpentry and drywall. He later joined another company as a project superintendent. Within a year, his leadership and drive earned him a promotion to estimator and project manager. After more than 20 years in the industry, Mark decided to forge his own path and founded Pangea Construction.
Today, Mark maintains a hands-on approach to every project Pangea undertakes. He believes that the gap between a blueprint and a finished building is bridged by communication, which is why he remains the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is executed without compromise.

Michelle’s passion for construction started in her grandfather’s workshop, where she learned woodworking and basic repairs. Drawn to architecture and eager for hands-on experience, she began her career as a project coordinator for a general contractor. Over time, she explored various roles and discovered her strength in project management and estimating.
After working alongside Mark for over two decades, Michelle seized the opportunity to join in his new venture, bringing her expertise in accounting to the partnership. While her primary focus is on office operations, she remains actively engaged with field activities.
